Me in Lockdown

Also me when I meet other poly people

Introducing Poly week 2021

It all might look a bit different….

I am currently staring out of a window, and I know for a fact you are doing the same thing, or at least were doing it an hour ago. So I started Poly week last year as a way to document my journey and to also keep all you pineapples informed and up to date! The people who originally started poly week are not doing it this year, not sure why but…giving it a solid guess….I would say it has something to do with…well…the plague.

Nevertheless myself and my partner Tom who also lurks these pages of Medium would carry it on in pure poly solidarity. Every day from the 9th to the 15th of February I will be posting about some thoughts, feelings, annoyances and the pandemic in polyamory. Now please, my beautiful fruits, bare with me as it may flit back and forth between the complex and simple or rough and smooth. It has not been a simple year and so much has happened. I barely remember what I did last Saturtuessunday, never mind the past 365 days.

What I will be exploring is the changes in myself, not just the growth but also the stumbles backwards that happened. There were moments I considered poly not being for me, which was a little heart wrenching. There were moments of pure happiness and that kind of laughter where you cant breath and you kind of do that pleasure choking sound…no? Just me? Well alright then, moving right along.

As ever, and I am sure most of you know this, these are all MY experiences and thoughts. Everyone does Poly/ENM differently, that is sort of the point, to be able to build your own relationship structure. 2020 gave me the time to really think and assess where my relationship goals lye. In one of my posts in poly week I will be discussing the Poly Power ranger team I am striving for.

So please join me and buckle up for a really fun ride…not like lego land…their rides are not fun or entertaining. Also does anyone always just want to knock over lego statues?
